seven months

dear Victoria,

you are on the move this month, rolling and scooting and learning how to transition from sitting down to your belly without smacking your melon on the floor. you are definitely interested in participating in any and all sorts of shenanigans with Elizabeth. you cry when you're startled by a loud sneeze, but you're not bothered in the slightest by the buzzers and cheering at basketball games; in fact, you often wave your arms and squeal with excitement.

shenanigans, exhibit A: unpacking the remnants from Cece's lunchbox

you're the unofficial school mascot

you eat all kinds of purees and have recently started chowing down on rice rusks spread with a thin layer of peanut butter. you like to play with Cheerios on your high chair tray, but your pincer grasp is not quite developed enough to manage to get them into your mouth, so most of them end up being batted onto the floor. no sign of any teeth yet!

feeding yourself with these awesome gootensil spoons!

definitely a fan of peanutbutter!

it's exhausting being this cute

this month, we were mostly just getting back into the swing of school and regular activities after holiday break, so there were no specific events to note. you are still wearing 6 month clothes although some of the footed sleepers are getting a bit too short for you! you continue to develop more rolls and are exquisitely squishy, especially when you're just wearing a diaper. squeezing your plump little thighs is the best kind of therapy.

a new hairdo at daycare!

you get yourself stuck under the TV stand a few times per week

crazy hair, don't care (BUT THOSE CHEEKS)

we love you, Victoria Anne!

sweetest little imp I ever did see!

  1. Oh my goodness - she is just darling. Those cheeks indeed! And the sparkly eyes and chubby hands and legs - the best of all things!
